Welcome back! Sorry for the delay… small computer blip, lots of colorful language, but alas, this fabulous blog post. Let’s not let that rain on the parade of happiness I’m about to share with you. Liz and Jake were that beautiful couple who’s engagement session I shared a few weeks back. The two crazy kids tied the knot among a fabulous group of friends and family at Chamberlain Farm in Berkeley, MA. I was a bit shocked that this was my first wedding at a great venue super close to home. Even through the rain and wet grounds, the staff worked hard to keep it safe and beautiful. The day started of with A LOT of rain. But, thankfully, the heavy stuff was out of the way by mid afternoon! That left us with some lingering clouds and mist… twist my arm says the photographer! The rain didn’t stop any of the love and support for Liz and Jake. What a sweet event to be a part of. Liz’s dad is a retired florist who did a phenomenal job with the flowers and the maple syrup favors! Friends make the romantic cake and guests mad libbed a personalized message to Liz and Jake. This topped off with a super fireworks display. Wow. If that isn’t starting off the rest of your life on the right foot I don’t know what is! Enough banter! Onto the photos!

The S Family!
Happy Weekend! Well for me anyways! Squeezing the life out of these last few weeks of summer!
Say hello to the S Family! Friends from high school, shooter of their wedding, and now I get to shoot their gorgeous family of four! Wow how times change! I met these guys at Colt State Park on a gorgeous summer afternoon. Stacey and Kevin got married at Colt State Park four years ago this summer! We tried so hard to get a sunny day but after two cancellations we just went for it. I’m glad we did, we got a beautiful early evening and some fabulous photos!

Meet the Sorrenti Family!
Welcome back!
This post is so special! Meet the entire Sorrenti Family! The matriarch of the family is a super recently retired secretary of WMS (my alter ego). And let me tell you something about that little lady, she is awesome. I’ve worked with her since I started at WMS and whatever punches we threw at her she masterfully handled. From new computer systems to new teachers and everything in between. She is a super special lady and everyone at WMS felt exactly the same. Part of her retirement gift was a session for her entire family, who she adores. And the reverse is also true as I had to juggle Jeannine’s calls along with her daughters as they were simultaneously planning a surprise night out that she had no idea about! But it worked! What a sweet family! I’m truly blessed to have worked with such an amazing woman and I think I speak for almost everyone at school when I say she will be dearly, dearly missed.

What a great week it’s been and I am super excited for the weekend! Aerosmith on a Wednesday and Queen on Saturday? Umm… I’d call that a fantastic week! Not to mention these unbelievable summer days we’ve been having. Amazing just a few short months ago we were still trapped in that ridiculously cold spring! Love me some summer!
And, I also love, super cute kids who take awesome photos! LOL Meet Ashlynn! She is a peach! I walked in and she came right over to hang out! We had a fantastic session and here are a few of my favorites to share!

Thomas & Kerri… An Alpine Country Club Wedding!
Welcome back on yet another gorgeous day! Busy day too over here in HHP/Mommy land! But a happy busy!
I’m so happy to be sharing this wedding with everyone! What a fun day and an amazing couple! Thomas is our cousin (for any of you who’ve seen my husband you will quickly see the resemblance! LOL) and Kerri is his high school sweetheart! Few turns in the road and a little patience eventually but them in a place to reconnect and create a fabulous family of four! The whole day was heartwarming and a ton of fun! It’s always fun working with family! So please, sit back and enjoy this incredible day! And big hugs to Thomas and Kerri (and Isabel and Sienna too!)! Welcome back… again! Wow! I’m playing this game today called catch up and it is OH SO AMAZING! Two blog posts, four disks, and a slew of emails – CHECKAROO! Annnd just like that I jinxed myself and can hear a tiny little voice calling for her dog upstairs. LOL If only Shelby could get you out of the crib…
Anyhow – meet Sara and Kyle! They are getting married next spring and were a blast to shoot with! And they brought Rosco along for a few shots as well! We shot down at Roger Williams Park and I LOVED the late sunlight! Swoon for some lens flare! I’ll stop babbling (in my head as I’m clearly not saying this aloud LOL) and let you enjoy the love!

Welcome back friends!
Meet Kheley and Kyle! They are getting married later this summer and we just shot their engagement photos down in Newport! We had a classic early summer day that just sparkled (corny yes, but the day really was a stunner, esp with 2014’s weather track record)! Speaking of stunning, I swear these two were going to melt my lenses! Ow Oww! We had a great time and I’m def looking forward to their big day in August!
