Matt and Jill got hitched… and it was fabulous! These two looked smashing on this nice sunny, Friday evening down in Narragansett, RI at the Point Judith Lighthouse. Their closest friends and family surrounded them on this beautiful day. We had fun getting photos around the lighthouse with Jill’s awesome dress and Matt’s smashing groom-wear! They also had the cutest lil cupcakes to match their nautical themed cake by Sin Desserts. Stay tuned in a few weeks for Matt and Jill’s colorful Trash the Dress session! Hope AK is treating you well guys!
Hello Summer! What a day! Got a lil beach action in today – yum!
Last month Sue and Trevor tied the knot (you may recall Sue and Trevor’s engagement session)! Sue and I used to play field hockey and track for good ol’ SHS! The Glory Days! lol now here she is all grown up and a beautiful bride! What a fun wedding this was! From the horse and carriage to the awesome guests and even the color celebratory flags at Bristol Yacht Club! The ceremony took place at Colt State Park and the reception was a quick stop away at the BYC. It was a cloudy day but no rain, thankfully! Sue and Trevor really are blessed to have been surrounded by this fabulous group of friends and family! So I’ll stop talking your ear off… enjoy!
Welcome back! I’m so excited for you to see these photos! You may remember Nicky from her maternity shoot a few weeks back… but now she has a baby! LOL – so please welcome Mark Jr into the world! I visited Mark when he was only five days old for these shots… so he wins the Youngest HHP Client (so far) Award! I also captured a few fairly silly photos that I will be sure to caption for you! hehe So without further adieu – Mark Jr!
Last month at the White’s of Westport Bridal Expo I got to chance to capture the ladies of Salon Serenity (Somerset, MA) in action. In between potential client questions, the ladies did a fabulous job with the hair and make-up of some beautiful volunteers. You can also see some of their unique creativity and prom work here and here.
Another thing I love about photography? Learning new cultures! Jessica’s Sweet Sixteen was a new culture for me and what a good time I had! Plus, I got to try out my backdrop again… with steamer! LOL I took lots of “formal” shots of the guests. Those photos can be found and downloaded here: http://www.photoshop.com/users/dayzchic9 or you can email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I can send the photo to you!
Thanks for a fun night and Happy Birthday Jessica!
My last wedding of the 2010 season was for Stephanie and Neil at Independence Harbor in Assonet and it was festive! I.H. was decorated for the holidays and made for a beautiful setting. It was a cold November day and the ceremony was in the early evening. Everything was gorgeous including the bride and groom – wow. The vineyard theme was elegant, the speeches and toasts were light and heartfelt, and crowd was full of dancing machines! So enjoy these photos and have a great holiday! Congrats Stephanie and Neil!
Well well… this week I had the great opportunity to take photos of Baby Cameron. She is the first born daughter to my gym boss and his wife, and man does she have hair! LOL, at nine days old she’s cute as a button and spent a lot of our session asleep! Congrats Kevin and Christie she’s awesome!
Hello again! A couple of weeks ago, Tammy and Henry (aka Muffin) got hitched! It was beautiful! Besides the bride being a teeny bit behind schedule and her claims of being a “hot mess” she was definitely beautiful and so in love with her Henry. I can honestly say I didn’t cry at my own wedding, but when Tammy came down the aisle and Henry eyes were watering… wow. After getting ready at the Holiday Inn Rockland, we were off to the Monponsett Inn in Halifax for the wedding and reception. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were fabulous and it was very apparent that they were the perfect group of people to stand behind this awesome couple. I also had a second shooter for this one so there may be an update with more shots!
Watch out! We are turning up the heat… and we’re not talking about the temperature! This photo shoot was a first for me. An adult, wow. So easy! Plus a new location – holy crazy! Fort Taber in New Bedford… colorful, overgrown, great spot for photos both in the forts and out! In addition to her hottness, Jenn was also awesome to work with and she had some great ideas for some shots! Most of the lighting was natural light, lil flash-work but tried to avoid it. These are some of Jenn and I’s favorites! Enjoy!
