Congrats Danielle & Chris – a Canoe Club Wedding!

Hi and welcome back!
Sorry for the delay with this gorgeous wedding – as it was shot back in March – but since then HHP has grown!  Myra made her debut on April 10th!  She’s doing great and looks nothing like her big sister!  But we’ll save that post for another day!

Here’s Danielle and Chris on their awesome wedding day!  I had Nicole as my second shooter (and if needed first!) and we started covering their day as they prepped to walk down the aisle.  Afterwards we headed to the Canoe Club in West Bridgewater.  Such a nice place run by super nice people!  The impending rain kept us indoors for the ceremony but we did manage to sneak in formals before it got too dark and started to rain!  Happy photographers!  Then we celebrated and the dance floor was full of happy people supporting Danielle and Chris on their big day.  Best wishes guys!
Enjoy!

Almost Mr & Mrs! Meet Jackie & Ryan!

Welcome back!  I can’t believe next week is already Thanksgiving!  Crazy!  Will it ever stop blowing my mind about how quickly time seems to pass???  Hopefully this just means it’ll be summer again before I know it.  : P

Even before the summer will be the wedding of Jackie and Ryan!  These two love birds will be my first wedding of 2015 and I am so excited!  Jackie is a great, long-time friend of my fab sister in law and was my teammate at good ol’ SHS on the field hockey field!  Glory days!!  Anyhow, I was tickled pink when she emailed me about shooting her wedding and I know it’s going to be a super day.  For their engagement shoot we visited the Nashoba Valley Winery and shot a bit inside and out.  Who knew November could be so beautiful?  With our gorgeous bride to be and her smitten groom, the views were spectacular!  So without further adieu… meet Jackie and Ryan!

Amanda and Andrew… A Providence Public Library Wedding!

Welcome back!
How’s a little wedding action to brighten this dull hump day?  Amanda and Andrew are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met!  I am so happy they chose me to photograph such a special day for them!  And what a day it was!  Warm and sunny and a perfect day for a wedding!  We made a few stops after the ceremony (Holy Cross Church in Providence) for some formal shots but thankfully left with enough time to get in some shooting at the Providence Public Library!  A tiny bit disapointed they don’t allow you to shoot in the, um, books  part of the library!  But we made up for it… or least I think we did!  Big thanks to Kate Guillette who was on hand to second shoot for me and captured some fabulous shots!  I liked this couple from the start and I am so happy these came out so great!
Congrats guys!
Enjoy!

Meet The Powers Family!

Welcome back!  Happy Friday!  Happy Memorial Day weekend!  Remember, it’s not just about the cookouts and the unofficial start of summer, it’s also about those who we have lost fighting for our country!
Meet the Powers Family!  A super sweet and HIGHLY energetic family!  They even introduced me to a new place, Paradise Valley Park in Middletown, RI.  What a nice little park!  With a windmill and some open fields it made the perfect spot for a New England photos shoot!  That being said… enjoy!

Steve <3 Courtney! A Red Lion Inn Wedding!

Happy Wednesday!
Nothing like a gorgeous hump day before a three day weekend to ease our way to Friday!  Let’s add even more fun by tossing in this fabulous wedding of Courtney and Steve!  You may recall their gorgeous fall engagement shoot and their wedding was no shortage of awesome.  Courtney did a lot of the details herself and they were picture perfect.  Their bridal party was hysterical and there was much love between them.  It was such a fun wedding to be a part of!  I also had Kate of Kate Guillette Photography to help me capture all angles of this beautiful day.  Thanks Kate!
Enjoy!

Personal Post… My “Baby” is Two!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  (or Cinco de Drinko as a past me used to call it…)  Now it comes in a different form as my day yesterday was filled with sweets and activities for my daughter’s birthday!  Yes my daughter was born on Star Wars day, something she will always be reminded of.  I like to joke that Sami stresses out over Star Wars day, but that’s just because he has to choose just ONE Star Wars shirt to wear ALL day…  this can be a painstaking decision.  Anyways – I’d love to share a few shots of my brand new two year old.  Cake smashes are for one year olds (even though in all honestly I think a two year old would have way more fun) and I have an idea for three, but nothing for two.  Did a lil internet research and came up with a balloon/party themed shoot.  Pair this with a cute tutu (upcycled from Halloween), new bright red chucks, and a cute peace sign onsie (aka two! – thanks hubby for the great idea) for a super fun shoot!  I had originally thought maybe some confetti, then my sanity rang the bell and I decided I was okay with not cleaning up hundreds of tiny little pieces of paper.  The shoot did take some time to set up.  People keep asking how… well – blew up the balloons and taped them to the wall in an every other pattern so that they sort of nestled into each other.  I tied some fishing line up and hung some ribbon from it to give the ribbons a 3D effect.  It was def a challenge to get a 23 month old to sit and smile AND look at the camera.  Bribery came over to play for the first time and that helped tremendously!  Then the hubby came home and helped get just a few more smiles!   One question I do have is… who the heck taught my kid to duck face?!  : P
Enjoy!
