Welcome back! Busy season is in effect! So excited to post Amanda and Dave’s awesome wedding! The ceremony took place at the Roger Williams Botanical Gardens… which was my first time there and was gorgeous! Thankfully it wasn’t a super … Continue reading
crickets? Um… so it’s been almost five months since my last post… whoops. But – here’s an amazing wedding to make up for all of that lost time! You may remember Liz and Jason from their awesome Nut Island engagement … Continue reading
Happy New Year!
Ironic right? I’m blogging a new years eve wedding and it’s my first blog post of 2017? I’m not going to start as I do with most years… “oh yay blogging, going to blog my face off this year!” Nope, we both know that’s not true. So, let’s just take it day by day and if you get bonus blogs great! If not, oh well! You can always visit Holly Haddad Photography on Facebook as this is updated way more frequently. Plus you’d get to see teasers day of the event in most cases! Either way 2016 was a great year for HHP and 2017 is looking even better! Currently booking 2017 AND 2018 weddings and it’s so awesome! Love meeting new friends and capturing those fabulous moments. Ok, enough yapping. :P
Meet Mary and David!
They are awesome! Mary is this vibrant, beautiful woman who chose this amazing guy who’s smile DOES NOT QUIT! Honestly! His smile is there in almost everyone of the over 900 photos this happy couple is getting back (8 hours and two shooters will do this to ya!)! The big day was filled with a Great Gatsby theme which was perfect for a New Years Eve Wedding. Mary (and David?) worked hard and had tons of awesome details for their big day. I had my trust second shooter Mallory with me for the night and I’m pretty sure we nailed this one! High five lady! Mary was referred to me by a former HHP Bride – which are my fav type of referrals as they have verbal (and sometimes visual) confirmation that we will be awesome as possible! And wedding referrals always score a free session for the referee! Anyways, I hope you enjoy this post and can feel the happiness that Mary, David, and their families emitted on their big day. Best wishes friends!
Hi welcome back! Sorry if I gave you a scare when I went and started blogging a day early! Whoops! Hopefully this bright and fantastic wedding is a welcome addition to your Thursday internet perusing session!
Meet Kacie and Eric! A few fun loving, crazy individuals who got married on Tom Brady’s suspension lifted Sunday! (yes I did arrive in my TB12 jersey! wooo!) It was a very dull and dreary day but with the gorgeous setting and happy couple, you’d never even know it was pouring rain, all, day, long. The Villa was filled with bright white and yellow as well as smiling guests. I am very happy that I was able to capture this awesome day and meet the supportive friends and family of Kacie and Eric!
Welcome back! Apparently Friday is blog day for me! Having so much work, I’m finally seeing a flow! A wedding a week (on top of teaching and momming) – I’ll take it! Meet Jesse and Zack! These two are perfect … Continue reading
Happy Friday friends! What’s better than a fresh blog post on a Friday when the sun is shining and TB12 is playing on Sunday? NOTHING! Well maybe if this blog post contained wine… anyways… Meet Nicole and Jesse a fantastic … Continue reading
Happy rainy Sunday! Meet Brittney and Aaron! I received an unexpected phone call on a Friday morning seeing what my availability was the next day, and ended up booking this fantastic wedding! Big thanks to those who hooked up Brittney and I! The beautiful Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, RI was the venue for the day… which was an added bonus as that is where I was married! It was a warm day until the misty fogged rolled in right before the ceremony started and provided perfect lighting. The ceremony was heartfelt and touching. We got some fun formal photos in and went right into the reception. The dancing was top notch and did not let up. So much energy. So thankful to have been a part of Brittney and Aaron’s big day!
Welcome back friends!
Been a busy past few weeks and it seems like that trend is going to continue through year’s end! But I’m loving it and love hearing how much you love your photos! Totally makes all the hard work worthwhile!
Anyhow – meet Emily and Kenny… and Chase!
I got to travel up to Whitefield, NH for this fantastic wedding. I work with the bride’s mother and have also photographed her son’s wedding waaaaay back in 2009! So how nice it was to see everyone again and in such a gorgeous location. The wedding was held at the Mountain View Grand Resort which was stunning in itself. Also, the centerpieces and flowers were some of the most gorgeous I’ve seen. Beautiful. So many memorable moments, from Dad sharing a photo of a young bride and her flute to her unsuspecting groom, to the infamous BIL ripping his shirt off to not be one upped by Chase on the dance floor! Who by the way did a great job playing best man all day, high five Chase, you rock. I’m so so happy I got to be a part of Emily, Kenny, and Chase’s special day and wish them the best of luck!!!
Welcome back! Can’t believe I am typing this in the second week of August! ALREADY?! I know Sarah feels my pain as do all you other educators out there! Meet Sarah and Joe! They were married in Newport at the newly renovated Newport Beach House (formally The Atlantic Beach Club) which is now a Longwood Events venue and is gorgeous!
Sarah and Joe had an awesome sunny Saturday for their wedding, which took place at the Chapel at Salve Regina University followed by a trolley ride to the Newport Beach House. Guests were entertained and kept on the dance floor by the fantastic band, 7 Day Weekend. Overall it was a great night and I think everyone was so excited to celebrate with Sarah and Joe!
A few notable memories… Sarah’s aunt and uncle hooking them up with Del’s after the ceremony… Joe’s mom ending their dance with the good ol’ “Hit the Road Jack!” – priceless… Sarah’s amazing rapping skills… so much fun!
Hey it’s Friday again! Wooo! Though being on summer vacation/maternity leave I’m a bit sad to see Friday’s as it is another week down and closer to leaving my bubs at daycare and going back to work! Boo!
Annnyhow – meet Audrey and Matt! What a fun couple with a ridiculously fun bunch of family and friends. So many things about this wedding were awesome. The weather was quintessential New England Summer, the guys and gals were stunning and the details were perfect. And to boot, it was the day before one of my favorite holidays… and Audrey’s birthday! How fun! Mallory and I had our work cut out for us capturing the Best Man groove his way across the dance floor and the bride’s dad cut a pretty fancy rug to Rock Lobster (a song I didn’t know existed but now I don’t think I’ll ever forget all eight minutes of it!). Best of luck to these two love birds!
